JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Installer
Reports To: Shop Supervisor
Department: Install Division: Ironwork
Location: 7121 Cockrill Bend Blvd., Nashville, Tn. 37209

Summary:
Installs ornamental iron items such as driveway gates, railings,
balconies, walk-through gates. Fencing, curved rails, and mailbox stands.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
Can travel, can weld. Must be able to read blue prints & orders.
Can bondo, can operate all tools on the install truck. Has touch-up
capabilities. Can make deliveries. Has the ability to effectively
communicate with the customer in order to maintain a good relationship
with the customer. Leaves the customer's work site clean & free of
any debris that we may have caused.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three
months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short
correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group
situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the
organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure,
using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute
rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with
problems involving several concrete variables in standardized
situations.
Computer Skills:
No Computer skills needed.
Certificates and Licenses:
Must have valid Driving License. Have a DOT Health Card. Welding
certification or experience preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
At times may be responsible for directing work of others.
