Sheppard Jones came to Herndon & Merry with a background in fine art. His clients benefit from his passion for the work and his wide-ranging artistic talent. Not only does he design architectural metalwork for H&M and assist in design projects for the Garden Park Antiques division, but also he is well known as an independent artist for his contemporary, mixed-media compositions that he sells nationwide. Sheppard earned a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from the University of Alabama at Huntsville, after which he moved to Nashville.

Prior to joining Herndon & Merry, he served as a designer and fabricator of custom lighting products for a highly regarded lighting company in Nashville.The ability to bring the artist’s perspective to architectural metalwork design makes Sheppard a valuable member of the H&M design team. From the customer’s perspective, knowing that people like Sheppard will be designing your metalwork provides a major reason to have confidence in Herndon & Merry’s ability to create something very special.
